New sponsor Solita confirms data automation and cloud DWH focus

Posted 12/2/2020

We’re happy to announce that Finnish consulting company Solita, an important North European player with a growing presence in Munich, will support the Knowledge Gap data modeling & data architecture conference as a 4NF sponsor.

Solita fit nicely both with our technical focus topics (data automation and cloud data warehousing) and with the rest of the sponsors: Like In516ht and Datavault Builder, they offer a modern automation tool. And like In516ht, Alligator Company and b.telligent, they are part of cloud DWH platform Snowflake’s European partner ecosystem.

Fact-oriented modeling at the Knowledge Gap conference

Posted 28/1/2020

Too often, data modeling is seen as a mere technical exercise. At least as often, the meaning of what has actually been modeled gets lost in the process. Fact-oriented modeling and especially Fully Communication Oriented Information Modeling (FCO-IM) can help you to focus on meaningful instances of human communication instead and to leave the technical implementation details to a powerful generator.

Intrigued? At the Knowledge Gap, you’ll have the rare opportunity to hear two experts talk about Fact-Oriented Modeling on a high level, Stephan Volkmann from TEDAMOH and Marco Wobben from CaseTalk. In addition, there will be several other presentations about the human and organizational context of data modeling and data architecture.
